Gabrielle’s Great Art Discussion

September 28th, 2005 · 2 Comments

Art, to me, is the ability to see and to communicate that sight to others, whether in painting, stitch, sculpture, music, writing, photography… to look around and isolate the beautiful, the idiosyncratic, the crazy, the droll, the quirky….

things that people might otherwise miss and be the poorer for it

Fire quilt finished!

September 26th, 2005 · 3 Comments

small fire quilt

It is sitting on my noticeboard/design wall at the moment (I really must make a proper design wall sometime but it will have to be a portable one because there’s no spare wall space in my studio.)
