Hello. My name's Liz Plummer and I'm a Textile Artist. I love the texture of fabric. I love dyeing it and painting it and stitching into it. This blog is about the influences on my work, inspiration, my daily life, and the processes of creating. Enjoy!

Uploading old photos in archives!

I’ve been busy these last few weeks uploading the old photos on to my new server for the archives. I’ve added titles and ‘alts’, categorized them and in some cases rewrote the wording. So far I’ve done January, February, March and April. I have enjoyed reliving my life in those months but it is very time consuming…. Anyway, if there’s a specific post you want to find again, there’s a slight chance that you might be able to! Can you tell me if the photos actually show up on your computers or if you find any glitches in those months? preferably before I do too many more…

I notice my Make Poverty History banner in the top right hand corner has sprouted festive holly sprigs and new wording. We are well into Christmas activities here – we had a Christmas church lunch with about 100 scoffing their turkey and Christmas pud today, then Zachary and I had to hurry to St Woolos Cathedral for the Cubs’ annual Carol Service. I think he only goes for the chocolate selection box they got afterwards! We have a pile of Scout post letters to deliver. One more week and the kids finish school for Christmas! Ironically, everything will then go quiet (well, when they’re on the computers or watching telly) for a week.
