Hello. My name's Liz Plummer and I'm a Textile Artist. I love the texture of fabric. I love dyeing it and painting it and stitching into it. This blog is about the influences on my work, inspiration, my daily life, and the processes of creating. Enjoy!

Contemporary Art Quilts by Liz Plummer

Dreaming Spirals wallhanging

Welcome to my website! I am in the process of updating it and incorporating it into WordPress so I’m afraid some old sections are no longer available, but my aim is to make it easier to change and update. Meanwhile, you can follow all my latest news by reading my blog, following me on Twitter or becoming a fan of my Facebook page. And you can buy my textile art and also a selection of Moleskine cahiers, hand printed with my Print Gocco designs, at my shop on Etsy

I am an art quilter and love to work with layers of fabric and surface design. The name of my website, Dreaming Spirals, started in this quilt. The design is based on the magnificent wrought iron gates at a nearby stately home. Its name is a play on the phrase ‘Dreaming Spires’ (referring to the City of Oxford, England).

I hope you enjoy browsing the wallhangings and quilts in my collection – all are for sale unless otherwise indicated – email me for details.
