I took these pictures earlier in the month before we had about a foot of snow. If I have time over the next few days, I’ll try and pop down there and take some snowy pictures too.
They are getting back to the very dry and old stage I remember from early spring.
The sun lights them up.
I like the contrast here between the dark row of reed heads and the light ones in the foreground which have the sun on them.
I shall be quite sad to finish my monthly documentation of the reeds’ progress and will have to think of something else to observe… I have a few ideas.
